For our first visit, we can include a deep cleaning to address all the tasks you haven't had time for, from baseboards to ceiling fans. If your home is already in pristine condition and you only need help with regular maintenance, let us know, and we can adjust the initial deep cleaning accordingly.

On each subsequent visit, we maintain a consistent cleaning routine tailored to your chosen frequency—whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Unlike other cleaning companies that rotate tasks, we ensure that every visit leaves every area of your home cleaned according to our designated process.

Kitchen Maintenance Cleaning

At Erika's House Cleaning, we believe that a clean kitchen is at the heart of every happy home. Our maintenance routine for the kitchen aims to cover all key areas, ensuring your kitchen remains clean and welcoming.

What Our Kitchen Maintenance Cleaning Includes:

Cabinets: We spot-clean cabinets and drawer fronts.
Backsplash: We spot-clean the backsplash.
Countertops: We clean all kitchen countertops. Items that can be safely and efficiently moved will be shifted so we can wipe down the entire surface before replacing them.
Countertop Items: We dust small countertop items with a duster if possible and wipe off the tops of larger items such as the toaster, toaster oven, and mixer.
Appliances: The face of all built-in kitchen appliances, including the hood, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and microwave, will be cleaned and polished (in the case of stainless steel appliances) Additionally, we clean the inside of the microwave.
Stove: We scrub and clean the stovetop.
Sink and Faucet: We scrub and clean kitchen sinks and faucets.
Floors: We vacuum all carpets and rugs, and vacuum and mop all bare floors.
Additional Features: We wipe the tops of bar stools or kitchen island chairs and dust the sides and feet of the stools. We dust kitchen decorations, the top of the refrigerator (if reachable), and kitchen hanging lights with a duster. We empty the trash cans, replace trash bags, and wipe down the outside of the trash cans. We fold the kitchen towels.

Note: Cleaning the inside of appliances such as ovens, refrigerators, or freezers can be requested as an add-on; these services are charged separately.

Bathroom Maintenance Cleaning

At Erika's House Cleaning, we recognize that a well-cleaned bathroom contributes significantly to the comfort and hygiene of your home. Our maintenance cleaning for bathrooms is tailored to cover the essentials, maintaining cleanliness and freshness in your bathroom space.

What Our Bathroom Maintenance Cleaning Includes:

Cabinets: We spot-clean cabinets and drawer fronts.
Mirrors: We clean and buff the mirrors.
Countertops: We clean all bathroom countertops. Items that can be safely and efficiently moved will be shifted so we can wipe down the entire surface before replacing them. We do not move clutter or large amounts of countertop items.
Countertop Items: We dust countertop items with a duster if possible.
Sink and Faucet: We scrub, clean, and sanitize the sink and faucets.
Bathtub/Shower: We scrub, clean, and sanitize the shower and bathtub area to remove any soap scum.
Toilet: We clean and sanitize the toilet both inside and outside.
Floors: We vacuum all carpets and rugs, and vacuum and mop all bare floors.
Additional Features: We dust bathroom lights, toilet paper holders, towel racks, shelves, and decorations with a duster. We empty the trash cans, replace trash bags, and wipe down the outside of the trash cans. We fold bathroom towels.

Living Areas Maintenance Cleaning

At Erika's House Cleaning, we believe that every corner of your home contributes to its overall ambiance. Our maintenance cleaning for living areas, including the living room, bedrooms, and other common spaces, focuses on keeping your spaces dust-free, tidy, and inviting.

What Our Living Areas Maintenance Cleaning Includes:

Furniture: We dust furniture tops, faces, and sides with a duster.
Surfaces Spot Cleaning: We dust all surfaces with a duster and spot wipe furniture tops such as coffee tables, side tables, nightstands, and office desks. Breakfast or dining table tops will always be wiped.
Knick Knacks, Wall Decor, Shelves: We dust decorations, knick-knacks, and picture frames with a duster if reachable.
Light Fixtures and Ceiling Fans: We dust light fixtures and ceiling fans if reachable using a 3ft extended duster.
Doors and Door Frames: We dust doors and door frames with a duster. Door knobs and areas around the door knobs are spot wiped as needed.
Baseboards: We dust all baseboards reachable using a 3ft extended duster.
Window Sills & Blinds: We dust window sills, blinds, and shutters with a duster.
Air Vents: We dust air vents reachable using a 3ft extended duster.
Switches: We spot wipe switches as needed (fingerprints, etc.).

Remove cobwebs: We will remove all cobwebs reachable by a 3ft extended duster.

Floors & Stairs: We vacuum all carpets and rugs, and vacuum and mop all bare floors. We wipe stair handrails and dust between banisters.
Trash Management: We empty all trash cans and replace trash bags (please note, that we do not provide trash bags or empty diaper trash disposals). We do not handle any extended amount of trash or trash that is not properly disposed of in the trash cans.
Light Straightening: We do light and efficient straightening such as folding blankets, arranging pillows on the couch, and arranging the TV remote on the coffee table, but we do not organize or move personal items.
Laundry Room: In the laundry room, we dust the washer and dryer spot-wipe the tops and fronts as needed (spills, etc.), and we will vacuum/mop the floor if accessible.
Master Closet: We will vacuum/mop the master closet floor if accessible.
TV and Electronics: We dust the TV frame and the back of the TV if reachable. We do not clean or dust TV screens or monitors. Other office or entertainment electronics are dusted only with a dry duster; we do not use a wet wipe on any office or entertainment electronics.

Safe Reach & Extended Dusting: When performing Deep Cleaning or Move In or Move Out cleaning we do not climb higher than a 3-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with/a 6ft extension duster. We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.

For our maintenance cleaning, we tailor our cleaning efforts to ensure the safety of our team and the integrity of your home. Our cleaning scope predominantly includes areas safely reachable from floor level, with the aid of a 3ft extended duster for dusting. This approach ensures a safe working environment while effectively maintaining cleanliness in inaccessible areas. However, we understand that some homes may require cleaning in higher places. If needed, this can be arranged upon request. We will bring the proper equipment and can work on cleaning tasks reachable with the use of a maximum 3-step stool or cleaning equipment with extended reach from floor level for high dusting. Rest assured, these tasks will be performed by properly trained and insured cleaning technicians. The price for this service is arranged individually based on the exact task and amount of work.

Preparation for Cleaning: We are committed to providing a thorough and effective cleaning service. To help us in this endeavor, we kindly ask our clients to clear surfaces expected to be cleaned of clutter, dirty dishes, or other personal items prior to our service. Regular items such as dish soap, hand soap, lotion bottles, toothpaste, and toothbrushes that can be safely moved will be shifted, the area will be cleaned, and then the items will be replaced. For countertops with an extended amount of small containers, bottles, or other items as decorations or extended amounts of knick-knacks, placing them on a tray or in a box that can be moved entirely before our visit will facilitate a complete countertop clean. This preparation enables us to focus on cleaning the space for optimal results. Otherwise, our service will be limited to dusting the tops of the items with a duster if possible, and cleaning the surface only around these items. If you would like to arrange a service that will also include moving and organizing these types of items, please reach out to us to arrange the scope and pricing for that service.

Respecting Personal Items: Your home is your personal space filled with personal belongings. As such, we do not clean or organize specific personal items including dishes, food, groceries, laundry, craft sets, makeup sets and other cosmetics, jewelry, wallets, purses, paperwork, and other documents. Our focus remains on the surfaces and common areas around these items. All surfaces that need to be addressed should be accessible and reachable without these items.

Personal Documents: We understand that your personal documents may be confidential and should remain in the order you have placed them. To respect your privacy and maintain the arrangement of your paperwork, we refrain from moving or organizing documents during our cleaning.

Appliances, Furniture Moving, and Specific Features: Some areas require specific care and handling that go beyond the scope of our regular maintenance cleaning. These include cleaning hood air filters, heavy buildup removal, steam cleaning, or delicate detail hand wiping or washing of decorative items. We also do not move large appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, etc., or move large furniture. Our aim is to provide comprehensive cleaning without risking damage to these sensitive and often high-value items.

Trash Management: As part of our cleaning service, we manage regular waste disposal. However, we request that all personal hygiene products and any other sensitive trash items are appropriately disposed of in trash bins by the client beforehand. This is to maintain hygiene standards and respect personal boundaries. We do not handle any extended amount of trash that is not properly disposed of in the trash cans.
