HOW ULV ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYING AND FOGGING SANITATION WORKS?

ULV Electrostatic Spraying and Fogging Sanitation is a combination of disinfection products with non-touch spraying ULV Electrostatic applications.

ULV Disinfection:

Erika's House Cleaning uses Hypochlorous acid (HOCl).

It is an all-natural, no-rinse, non-toxic, non-irritant and environmentally safe antimicrobial solution that is 99.9% proficient at killing bacteria and viruses - approximately 100 times as effective as chlorine bleach.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is officially approved by the US FDA and WHO and meets EPA's criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Electrostatic ULV Spraying and Fogging application:

Erika's House Cleaning uses a professional Electrostatic ULV fog sprayer. This machine uses large volumes of air at low pressure to transform the liquid into droplets with an average size of 20 microns that are dispersed into the atmosphere. The disinfection droplets are positively charged to create an even spread on the sprayed surfaces helping the disinfecting and sanitizing solution adhere to surfaces and objects. . This technique guarantees that the cleaning prowess extends all the way around (360 degrees) the surfaces, furniture, appliances, etc. It leaves no visible residue or stains and it is safe for all types of surfaces including fabric, upholstery or carpets.

The sanitation process is 100% safe for you, your children, your pets, houseplants, and food. You don't need to leave the house. We only ask that you, your children, and pets stay out of our technician's way while the fog is applied. After the process there may be a smell that some equate to a spa or the ocean. Others may confuse it with a faint bleach smell. It should dissipate after 1-2 hours. The whole process usually takes between 30 to 60 minutes for an average size house.
